Prepared on the basis of the Order No. 39\/2025 of the Rector of the Christian Theological Academy in Warsaw of 26 November 2025 on the introduction of the Code of Ethics concerning the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in academic activity at the Christian Theological Academy in Warsaw.<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. General principle<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The Academy recognises artificial intelligence (AI) as a tool supporting learning, research, and teaching.<\/span>
    \nAI may be used provided that transparency, responsibility, and academic integrity are maintained.<\/span>
    \nAI is intended to assist \u2013 not replace \u2013 the author.<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. When AI may be used<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      \u2714 for learning, summaries, auxiliary translations, language editing, data analysis, and idea generation;<\/span>
      \n\u2714 in scientific or teaching work \u2013 provided that the author independently verifies the results and discloses the use of AI;<\/span>
      \n\u2714 in organisational communication \u2013 provided that no personal data or confidential materials are processed.<\/span><\/p>\n

      1. What should be avoided<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        \u2716 entering personal data, unpublished research, or copyright-protected content into AI tools where data security is not assured;<\/span>
        \n\u2716 delegating substantive decisions or evaluations to AI;<\/span>
        \n\u2716 presenting work created by AI as entirely one\u2019s own;<\/span>
        \n\u2716 using AI during examinations or tests without the consent of the instructor.<\/span><\/p>\n

        1. Disclosure of AI use<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Always inform about the use of AI in your work \u2013 for example, in a footnote or statement:<\/span><\/p>\n

          \u201cAn AI tool (e.g. ChatGPT) was used in the preparation of this work for language correction and summaries. The author verified the results.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

          Failure to disclose may be considered a breach of the principles of academic integrity.<\/span><\/p>\n

          1. Responsibility<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            The author is responsible for all content \u2013 including content generated by AI.<\/span>
            \nAI has no copyright, and materials created by AI are not protected by law unless they have been creatively developed by a human.<\/span>
            \nIn the event of violations (e.g. plagiarism, disclosure of data), the University acts in accordance with applicable regulations.<\/span><\/p>\n

              \n\ud83d\udd39 You bear full responsibility for the final outcome.<\/span><\/p>\n
