It presents current directions of scientific exploration and the discussions taking place around them. It introduces leading research centres and their most recent research and publication achievements.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Courses:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Contemporary paradigms in theological and social sciences<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Interactive lectures with distinguished researchers<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>M2: METHODOLOGY MODULE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This module is related to the development of a specialised methodological toolkit enabling the design and conduct of scientific research, both individual and team-based, including in an international environment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The module prepares doctoral students in a practical way to consciously choose a research focus and design their own research toolkit, with emphasis on the methodological differences existing in the area of theology, social science and humanities. It introduces institutional rules for conducting research, including rules for preparing research grant applications. It equips doctoral candidates with skills necessary for planning independent and team research activities. It prepares them for the analysis of research material (both qualitative and quantitative) and for the dissemination of research results, including the preparation of high-quality scientific publications.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Courses:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Academic writing<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Information technology in scientific work<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Data visualisation and interpretation<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Preparation of grant applications<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Research methods in theology<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Research methods in social sciences<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ethics of scholarship<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Research ethics and protection of intellectual property<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Techniques of academic exchange of ideas<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Communicating research results<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Research project management \u2013 workshop<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>M3: ACADEMIC, PROFESSIONAL AND SOCIAL COMPETENCES MODULE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This module enables doctoral students to acquire a range of skills related to academic career development. The module is built on modern concepts of academic didactics and helps doctoral students prepare for teaching university students, as well as develop the soft skills of an academic teacher: sensitivity to diversity, dialogical approach and understanding the needs of people with different ways of thinking and understanding social reality.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Didactics in higher education covers such issues as: teaching as an interpersonal relationship; methods and forms of education; providing feedback and assessment; reflection and evaluation of one\u2019s own teaching practice; cooperation among academic lecturers; working with students with diverse educational needs. The work placement component helps doctoral students to learn how to plan a course, create a syllabus, teach a class, observe classes taught by others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Courses:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Higher education didactics<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The university as an educational organisation and institution<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Work placements<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>M4: WORK ON ONE\u2019S SCIENTIFIC ACHIEVEMENT<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The aim of this module is to enable cooperation between the doctoral students and the supervisor or supervisors, as well as among doctoral students, oriented towards the preparation of the doctoral dissertation, and to broaden knowledge within one\u2019s specialisation and methodological skills.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It consists of regular meetings with the supervisor(s) (tutoring) and a doctoral seminar in the form of discussion meetings embedded in the thematic scope of the relevant disciplines and based on presentations of the dissertation concept (with the participation of supervisors)..<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Courses:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Doctoral seminar<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Individual tutoring in theology or educational sciences<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>M5: CULTURAL COMPETENCES<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This module enables the acquisition of knowledge in the field of religious diversity and participation in social discourse related to human rights and respect for religious and worldview diversity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Courses:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Human rights and freedoms in scientific and social discourse<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Dialogue of cultures and religions in the modern world: opportunities and barriers<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>GRADUATE PROFILE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Programme of Study offered at the Doctoral School of ChAT in the discipline of theology and educational sciences enables graduates to develop a research toolkit based on a broad theoretical foundation, allowing for further independent academic and research work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Graduate has an in-depth knowledge of the global achievements of theology and educational sciences and their paradigmatic and methodological foundations; he\/she has mastered a research toolkit to the extent that he\/she can creatively apply research methods, techniques and tools; his\/her knowledge of a modern foreign language enables him\/her to function in an international scientific environment.
