Tadeusz J. Zielinski – Deputy Rector of the Christian Academy of Theology in Warsaw. He earned his doctorate and habilitation (postdoctoral degree) in legal sciences at Warsaw University’s Faculty of Law and Administration, and also a doctorate and habilitation (postdoctoral degree) in theological sciences at the Faculty of Theology of the Christian Academy of Theology in Warsaw. In 2015, the President of the Republic of Poland granted him full professorship in theological sciences. In the years 2008–2016 he served as the president of the Polish Association of Church-State Law, and between 1993 and 2001 he was a member of the Polish Parliament. He is also an attorney-at-law.
He has authored 5 scientific monographic books and approximately 100 scholarly articles published in peer-reviewed periodicals and books. He was an editor of several multi-author monographs and serves as a member of editorial committees of three scholarly periodicals and a permanent reviewer of another one.
Under his supervision eight doctoral students have received PhD degrees.
His scholarly interests include: Constitutional jurisprudence on religious liberty, legal protection of religious minorities, religious and worldview expression in educational systems, law of higher education and science, legal aspects of the secular state, history and religious practice of Protestantism.
